We at Bluekraft Digital Foundation are inviting applications for the position of Producer.
Our team is looking for a producer who is skilled at conceptualizing video content for digital media platforms. In this position, expect to work directly with leadership and internal digital channel teams and manage schedules for all assigned projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Read, research and assess ideas before creating storyboards and scripts. Make use of the internet, video archives, and other sources of information to find information about production topics.
· Manage the shoot end-to-end in coordination with the director, project lead, camera team, freelancers, etc.
· Schedule shooting based on the availability of support staff, the time, the location, and logistics.
· Identify and resolve production-related problems. Supervise the production and post-production phases of the project. Deliver the finished product on time and in accordance with the brief.
· Ability to retain and apply feedback from leadership and develop standards for producing outputs. Develop new and creative video strategy ideas. Monitor post-production processes closely to ensure accurate information and aesthetics.
· Archive the entire shot output dump to make future reference and usage easier.
· Expect to work in a team of anchors, camera experts, video editors, and graphic designers.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Education: Graduate in mass communications/journalism or related fields
Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in media, digital media or related field.
Competencies
· Should have experience producing short documentaries, interviews, panel discussions, and events.
· Experience in handling on-ground as well as studio shoots.
· Ability to understand the script and the needs of the director(s), video editor(s) during the shoot.
· The ability to deliver within short timelines and meet tight deadlines.
