Job Summary:
About the Role:
In the Karnataka market, Star Suvarna has begun a transformational journey as we look up the game and the orbit we operate. We are looking for a seasoned self-driven candidate who will be responsible for the creative output of the fiction show/s in collaboration with various teams.
Context:
The incumbent will be responsible for ideation, co-creation and being the show runner of assigned fiction show/s will make it highly engaging for Star Suvarna viewers. This incumbent will also be expected to partner closely with OAP, Channel Marketing in ensuring the show meets the standard quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
To create engaging fiction content for consumers thereby building channel viewership by actively engaging in all stages of fiction content development – from ideation to execution for the assigned shows/ time slots
To ensure ideas, stories & scripts are reviewed and ready ahead of time and in sync with the programming strategy
To ensure consistent high quality of creative and production. To keenly analyze, understand & share consumer insights with cluster head
To maintain healthy relationships with internal network team & Production houses
Stay ahead of competition by gaining insights and propose changes in the assigned shows, as needed, to edge over competition
To closely monitor and drive the assigned shows to slot leadership, market share and/or agreed TVRs.
Performance Measures:
Get the shows to leadership position and continue to lead
Shows viewership in terms of time spent relative market share and reach
Consumer insights incorporated into shows.
Qualifications:
Graduate and/ or P.G. in Mass Communication, Film & TV Production
4 – 6 years of relevant work experience in a channel and/ or Production House.
Personal Attributes:
Strong ideation, storytelling, creative and evaluation skills
Proficiency in Kannada is a must
Problem solving and decision skills.
