Role Description
The IPB Capital Markets team is responsible for the entire lifecycle management of Equities, Fixed Income, Structured and FX products available on Deutsche Bank's APAC IPB platform. The Structured Products desk researches and provides Derivatives backed solutions on Equities, Credit, Rates & Fund underlying for the bankers. The team also engages in related activities including benchmarking, back-testing, sourcing in-house research and preparing marketing materials. The team in Mumbai is involved in providing support to the Capital Markets team in all aspects.

Your key responsibilities
• Structured Products Solutions:Follow CIO views and assist the desk in pre-trade activities like publishing pricing runs, preparing marketing materials and trade back-testing if neededAssist the desk in preparing product training materials for investment managers and bankers Automation of trading processes including themes/underlying that can be included in structured notes
• Lifecycle management:Maintain the existing lifecycle management process as well as taking new projects/initiatives for the desk for business process improvement.Undertake frequent positions risk analysis of the Structured Products book and highlight any concentration and market risk to the deskUnderstand product level MTMs and undertake frequent positions MTM analysis as requested by deskAssist with any adhoc query from the desk with respect to revenue & risk reporting
• Work with a multi-location team spread across Singapore, Hong Kong and Mumbai in a coordinated approach
• Build relationships, co-ordinate and engage with Compliance and various other teams across the value chain
Your skills and experience
• University degree in Finance, Management or similar
• Knowledge of derivatives is a must and cross asset products is preferable
• Good analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint and hands on experience in Excel VBA coding
• Familiarity with database environments like MS Access or SQL
• Familiarity with leading financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, initiative driven and proactive approach, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
