Job Description Summary:
RESL Pricing is one of the most powerful management levers available to steer the long-term profitability of the Canadian Personal Bank. Reporting to the Senior Group Product Manager, RESL Pricing, the Product Analyst, RESL Pricing w ill be accountable for expanding our capabilities and insights in managing the pricing intelligence function.
The role involves working closely within the RESL Pricing Team, P&L, Treasury and Finance teams to close gaps in pricing insights, process, documentation, and tools.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Produce weekly pricing intelligence packages.
Produce monthly business review (MBRs) for pricing by leveraging weekly pricing. intelligence packages and reports/insights from AI2 team.
Monitor pricing trends to support rate change.
Transition manual reports /dashboards built by Pricing team to CPB AI2 team.
Support other pricing pillars on documentation and analysis.
Participate in the day-to-day management of the product(s), identifying and implementing product features and enhancements, providing business case support of recommendations, and assisting in the strategic development of new initiatives.
Deliver financial results for the product / product suite via operation of all available ‘levers’ (viz., pricing, margin, volume).
Communication of key proposals, findings and analysis through memos, slides, and personal interaction with RESL senior management.
Collaborate with various partners in TBSM, Finance, Treasury, Analytics, and Technology to achieve business objectives.
Job Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience
Prior experience in Treasury, Finance, RESL, Pricing will be highly preferred.
Undergraduate degree and/or product management certificate.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and storytelling using data & insight.
