Providing our valued Customers with market products across; energy, chemicals, food, mining, mobility, and data centers, just to name a few.
The Opportunity
What an exciting time to join our Power Systems team! Due to an internal movement, we are currently seeking an experienced Product Application Engineer. With the opportunity to take the next step in your career, you will leverage your experience to support our growing Power Systems portfolio across growing markets that are calling for our expertise.
With a mix of technical and solutions, you will collaborate with a broad team of passionate professionals as you interact with our Sales teams, valued Customers and key Partners in the successful adoption of our growing suite of products and related solutions. Collaborating with a variety of technical stakeholders, you will make an Impact in supporting Customer requirements and contributing to the ongoing success of Schneider Electric.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
Play a hands-on role to support our growing Power Systems portfolio and related solutions across varied Customer segments; Utilities, Power and Grid, MV portfolio, Kiosks etc.
Provide a key role in Pre Sales activity and the provision of technical solutions as you play a central role in our ongoing success across markets that are full of opportunity
Support Key Account Managers and working closely with our local manufacturing operations within the APAC region to ensure we are geared to meet Customer requirements
Support Sales teams in demonstrating product capabilities, features and value of our offers
Engage with specialist functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing etc.) to provide technical expertise and ensure alignment as we deliver on both current and future accounts
Play a hands-on role as you provide specialist technical support to Customers
Focus on Mastery as you maintain technical knowledge of our products and related technologies
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar coupled with experience in a similar position
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in Customer engagement and presenting when required
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, while managing multiple tasks
Those with previous exposure to Power Systems products and solutions will be viewed favourably, as will those with a knowledge of programming languages (C++, C#, Python, SQL, etc.)
