About the role
Markets Connectivity & Support resides in the Regulatory & Risk Tech Area within ANZ’s Institutional bank. Our squads are responsible for providing industry leading Markets Connectivity & Support solutions for the Global Markets business in ANZ.
This role requires an experienced technology leader to be involved in the development and support of the Markets Connectivity & Support infrastructure for multiple initiatives impacting the Global Markets business in ANZ.
Diverse Tech Lead role with accountability across a number of projects, stakeholders and engagement points
Solid understanding of agile/scrum practices;
Experience in building specialist teams with Global Markets domain expertise, specifically Markets Connectivity & Support, to support and maintain a critical business functions
Able to manage multiple teams supporting Markets Connectivity & Support infrastructure and leading project delivery across Markets Connectivity & Support technology across multiple geographies
Able to work independently and nurture a team through continuous improvement to deliver high quality outcomes for the Global Markets business
What will your day look like
Drive multiple initiatives for Markets Connectivity & Support technology and ensure the impact of the constantly evolving requirements of the business are continually met
Continually manage change through to production to support the Global Markets business whilst maintaining production stability
Drive continuous improvements of the system, development practice and processes and team performance
Lead multiple teams of engineers and analysts in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Markets Connectivity & Support infrastructure
Drive multiple initiatives for Markets Connectivity & Support technology and ensure the impact of the constantly evolving requirements of the business are continually met
Continually manage change through to production to support the Global Markets business whilst maintaining production stability
Drive continuous improvements of the system, development practice and processes and team performance
Lead multiple teams of engineers and analysts in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Markets Connectivity & Support infrastructure
Work closely with the other Product Area Leads and Tech Area Lead in executing the Technology Strategy
What will you bring?
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Experience with building teams and delivery capability from scratch
Experience with leading multiple teams working on different priorities and backlogs
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple project priorities in parallel
Experience with Agile & DevOps structures, ceremonies and processes
Experience in the financial industry, Markets Connectivity & Support and Global Markets is mandatory
Experience of delivering complex solutions in an AWS Cloud environment
Experience of working with vendors in delivering complex and outsourced solutions
