Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Deployment Support and RHEL Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the deployment of applications and services on the Azure cloud platform, as well as providing support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure, along with extensive knowledge and experience working with RHEL.
Deploy, configure, and manage applications and services on the Azure cloud platform.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable and reliable solutions on Azure.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure deployments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Provide technical support and guidance for RHEL systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Monitor and optimize system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
Ensure the security and compliance of Azure deployments and RHEL systems, following industry best practices and organizational policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation and orchestration solutions for streamlined deployment and management processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Azure and RHEL, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in Azure deployment and support, including experience with virtual machines, networking, storage, and Azure services.
Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and experience managing RHEL-based systems in production environments.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and configuration management.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for Azure and RHEL systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect.
Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA or RHCE.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
