Product Designer - E3D Catalogue Design and Admin

The Product Designer will work closely with the Engineering Team to turn complex system concepts into product designs. The holder of this position will take responsibility for a range of activities, including both the design of innovative new systems and the ongoing update of existing product lines.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:Design of complex systems and devices using E3D Paragon-Admin, Autodesk Inventor and Navis CAD softwareWork closely with other key areas of the business to understand the design requirements and develop effective design solutionsFollow engineering processes to ensure quality is designed into all products and identifying process improvements that may be driven through the businessProduce, control and maintain all required design documentationParticipate in design review meetingsHand-over product designs to the Operations Team to enable successful New Product IntroductionProviside of design advice and support to the build and commissioning teams during product build and testQualification & Skills:Relevant higher education qualification in mechanical or production engineeringProficient use of a recognised CAD design packageProven relevant experience 4-6 yearsCreative problem solver with good team-work attitude
