Location: The job is based in Yiwu, China – a major global hub for gift and seasonal product manufacturing.
About 1000 Miles Limited
1000 Miles Limited designs and manufactures seasonal and everyday gift products. We focus strongly on packaging, product design, and display. Our goal is to make products that look great and sell well in retail stores. We work with major gift-industry retailers across North America, Europe, and Australia.
What You Will Do
You will create complete product collections from beginning to end. This includes developing mood boards, coming up with design concepts, checking prices and sample costs with factories, and managing sample production. You will design the product, the packaging, and the display.
You will lead a small team that includes product designers, packaging designers, and a merchandiser. You will make sure the team works together smoothly and that communication with factories is clear and efficient.
You will also help create custom collections for key customers. This includes mockups, packaging ideas, and full display concepts tailored to customer needs.
Your work will directly support the company’s sales by helping us present strong, attractive collections through trade shows, catalogs, showroom visits, and email presentations.
Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience designing consumer products (such as giftware, fashion items, or accessories)
Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience using AI tools for image generation and mockups (we are open to any tools you like to use)
Leadership and organizational skills – able to guide a team and manage deadlines
Creative thinking and the ability to turn ideas into strong final products
Good English communication skills
