Roles&Responsibilities
Lead all the aspects of design including research, consumer personas, journey mapping, interaction designs, visual designs and usability testing.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative user studies for various learner personas across domains. Present insights to drive product and business roadmap decisions.
Work closely with cross functional partners to understand problem statements and convert feature requirements to delightful end to end customer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Ownership of defining the design language system and other best practices. Ensure adherence to defined practices.
Set clear goals for the team, manage design roadmaps and workload distribution to deliver high quality design artefacts with an aggressive timeline.
Work closely with product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure pixel perfect delivery. Build a team of passionate designers that can help us take user experience to the next level.
Drive a culture of constant learning and innovation to deliver extraordinary results with each design iteration
Desired Candidate profile
Preferably from Design School – NID/NIFT or with some design qualification
Creative individual with 5+ years of hands on experience in various aspects of designs at an online consumer internet organisation.
Proven track record of shipping multiple high quality and thoughtful product features in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
A solid understanding of design nuances across ecosystems – Android, iOS, Mobile Web and Desktops.
Should have delivered positive impact on metrics using design changes driven by insights from user research and market studies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex user/business problems and translate these into elegant designs.
Open to feedback and at the same time should be able to push back on subjective feedback with a clear point of view whenever appropriate.
Should be up to date with the latest design trends
