We are looking for
Product Engineer
at one of our locations in
Asia Region - in India (Pune, Lonikand)
Your tasks:
Take the next step in your career with us in a global innovative (automotive) environment:
• Execute and drive engineering activities within the P0 phase of a project.
• Support the cross functional team to establish a quote package in response to the customer RFQ.
• Work in alliance with automotive standards e.g. APQP, ISO, TS, PPAP, DFM, USCAR…
• Report own Engineering hours and activities to assigned projects (if applicable) in TSR (Timesheet Reporter) or equivalent tool.
• Establish structured, detailed technical product documentation to distribute application knowhow globally, within the PLM system. (Teamcenter)
• Act as primary technical contact person for global customers (Americas, Europe and Asia) and support sales team with technical expertise.
• Extract all RFQ technical information and file documentation within TC in coordination with the support functions available to use for data entry/document filing tasks.
• Analyze Customer RFQ data, identify product requirements and list alternatives (if possible) to enhance product quality, reduce costs or improve manufacturability of the product for enhanced competitiveness.
• Participate/Conduct design review meetings for Level 2/3/4/5 RFQs.
Job Requirements
• Good knowledge of Automotive Engineering standards, processes, and requirements
• Adequate system knowhow of Product Lifecycle Management tools, 3D CAD systems, SAP and proficient with MS Office application..
• Knowledgeable in wiring and connection systems and materials preferred.
• Possess good organizational, communication, proof-reading, editing and technical writing skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to drive for results.
• 6-8 Years Working Experience in a Product Engineer.
• 3-5 Years Working experience in a Automotive Company.
• 3-5 Years Working experience in a Multicultural Organization.

Product Engineer

Your tasks:
