Primary Responsibility:
Conduct research, create design concepts and make design briefs
• Conduct research, create design concepts and make design briefs
• Knowledge of solid works or Fusion 360 is mandatory
• Understanding technology, production methods and materials (such as, wood, metals and plastics)
• Experience in NPD along with Reverse & Re-engineering of products is a must
• Knowledge of Plastic Products, Injection Moulding technology is must
• Detailed manufacturing design, be accurate and pay attention to detail
• Value engineering & analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping (usage of 3D printer etc)
• Knowledge of rendering and presentation is a plus
• Great computational and spatial ability
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Technology transfer & Good understanding of tolerances and stack-up analysis of a design/assembly
• Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers Layout support
