DGCIO lead business facing technology functions dedicated to servicing the needs of MP and FS. The DGCIO is accountable for delivery and operations of all technology that the MP and FS rely on.

We’re looking for a collaborative and skilled S&P Markit EDM Developer to join our Master Data Management (MDM) Product Team. What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across the data lifecycle
Providing technical input and communicating clearly with stakeholders
Driving continuous improvement in development practices and standards
Taking ownership of your work and contributing to peer reviews
Testing and refining code to ensure quality and performance
Mentoring and supporting colleagues, sharing your knowledge and experience
Staying current with industry trends and applying innovative techniques
Contributing to non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability
Identifying and implementing optimisation opportunities
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Criteria
We’re looking for someone who has the following key skills and experience:
Proficiency in S&P Markit EDM (version 18+)
Strong understanding of ETL development, including EDM Matcher, Load, Export, and EDM UI
Experience building user interfaces and validation routines in Markit EDM
Advanced knowledge of SQL and SQL Server
Demonstratable experience of working in highly collaborative teams with an emphasis on knowledge sharing.
Ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders both technical and non-technical.
Essential Criteria
We are looking for candidates who have the following capabilities:
Familiarity with batch scheduling systems
Experience with the MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Proficiency with version control and development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git, Azure DevOps)
Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and writing stored procedures
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Desirable Criteria
It would also be beneficial, but not necessary, to have some of the following:
Experience in data warehouse design and usage
Understanding of data modelling and logical/physical database design
