This document defines job description & qualification for Assistant Manager/Manager for Product Engineering in R&D function of the organization. The candidate will be working in a fast paced environment with a steep with leading abilities and curve in designing, implementing and productionizing various DC power solutions / Energy Management Solutions for critical applications in areas of telecom and other vertical markets. Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical from a good institution with minimum 8 to 10 years of experience.
• Managerial Skills in the domain of design and System Engineering of Medium Large organization.
• Have enough knowledge of Electronics/Electrical circuit skills and design verification.
• Good command over written and spoken English and can interact with customer to bring organization values and image building.
• Experience in working in Telecom Power Solutions Company shall be preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good personality, self-confident, able to work in a team.
• Should have knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word.
• Should be hands on experience of Project management and tools for quality product development
Job Description
• Interaction with marketing and customer technical and commercial team to apprehend the requirement and inputs to Exicom team helping in design of best in class engineered product or solution.
• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into an in-house product specification that meets the requirement through a variant of an existing proven design.
• Managing pool of Engineers to bring effective solutions in terms of design simplicity and cost economy
• Prepare and verifying supporting documents for new product development for Mechanical energy chain and helping our customers to reduce carbon footprint, power urban transport, and integrate renewable energy with Grid, Exicom is a market leader operating in three key business vertical markets of telecom, storage, and green mobility. Exicom is a power Electronics Company engaged in designing, engineering and manufacturing of DC power solutions for various vertical markets with Telecom being the largest of it.
Exicom operates as two business units – Critical Power and Battery Systems. Exicom is a leading company engaged in designing, engineering and manufacturing of critical power solutions for vertical markets of telecom, Industrials and EV’s. We are the largest manufacturer of Telecom DC Power systems in India and are exporting to South East Asia, Africa as well. +0%+ our sales are via own designed products and we have grown 5x in last 5 years.
We have now created a Mobility division to play the role of catalyst in the Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem and have already supplied > 1500 battery packs to Auto OEMs and supplied the first ever tender for electric charging stations to EESL. Exicom has set-up an internal ambition of being a top 3 player in the emerging EV ecosystem with multiple plays across the value chain.
