What will your typical day look like?
Job Overview


Deloitte Cloud Services (DCS), reporting to the office of the Global CTO, delivers cloud solutions that accelerate both revenue-generating and internal applications. DCS supports software development and provides best practices to streamline and automate the release management pipeline.

As the Product Excellence Lead, you will lead the communications function for DCS, overseeing a team of communications specialists and collaborating with senior leaders across Deloitte member firms. You will develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that engage internal and external stakeholders, promote world-class cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure), and support proprietary software products for DCS.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership


Develop, implement, and continuously refine the overall communications strategy for DCS, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and the needs of global stakeholders.
Serve as the primary advisor to DCS leadership on all matters related to communications, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance DCS’s visibility and reputation through strategic communications initiatives.

Team Management


Lead, mentor, and develop a team of communications specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Oversee workload allocation, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality communications deliverables.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.

Stakeholder Engagement


Build and maintain strong relationships with DCS team leaders, technology and cybersecurity functions, and key contacts across Deloitte member firms.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, relevant, and actionable.
Represent DCS in cross-functional and global forums.

Content Oversight and Quality Assurance


Oversee the planning, research, and creation of a wide range of communications deliverables, including emails, product release notes, knowledge base articles, technical guides, FAQs, web content, infographics, articles, presentations, and videos.
Ensure all communications are clear, compelling, and tailored to diverse internal audiences.
Maintain high standards for messaging, style, and branding, ensuring consistency with Deloitte templates and brand guidelines.

Change Management and Measurement


Lead communication efforts for major product launches, technology changes, and organizational initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communications campaigns and continuously improve based on feedback and analytics.

Innovation and Best Practices


Stay current with the latest communications technologies, tools, and trends; champion the adoption of innovative approaches within the team.
Promote a culture of creative problem-solving, active brainstorming, and collaborative innovation.

Primary Qualifications


BA/BS degree in communications, English, public relations, marketing, journalism, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, with relevant experience in software product operations or communications.
5+ years’ experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field, preferably within a technology or software organization.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing communications strategies for complex, global organizations.
Superior writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact communications across multiple channels and audience groups.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, web content management systems, analytics tools, and photo/video editing software.
Experience leading internal communications campaigns that drive awareness and engagement in a dispersed workforce.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.

Passion for technology and software, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience managing global communications teams and working in a matrixed environment.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
