Job Purpose: Product Head - Jewel Deposit Loan (JDL) / Gold Loan would be directly responsible for Product Development and building digital processes for achieving the Better Efficiency, Revenue, Volume and Profitability target for the product line. Key Accountabilities: • Do a market benchmarking, find the right opportunities and launch differentiated product variants to ensure higher IRR / Volume. • Set up the platform, processes, product & technology infrastructure required. • Develop and work closely with Risk team Credit, Fraud and Operations to have best in class TAT's and credit risk monitoring processes. • Do effective channel management and drive product communication through various channels • Liaise with various partners like L&C, Audit, Technology, Operations, Finance & Marketing for the product update and business compliance. • Tap the alternate revenue opportunities like cross sell / insurance • Devise and run the annual operating plan for the Jewel Deposit Loan (JDL) / Gold Loan business. • Build business intelligence for the product line. • Sales force training and optimization Required Experience: • Overall 12 -18 years of Product Management & Development experience in Jewel Deposit Loan (JDL) / Gold Loan • Proven track record in project management and implementation. • Sound Understanding of Jewel Deposit Loan (JDL) / Gold Loan Industry, dynamics, key players and competition. Core Competencies: • Excellent listening skills and analytical skills • Ability to work with diverse teams like IT, Legal, Finance, Operations etc • Self-drive and aspirations higher than the organizational aspirations. • Strong ability to influence teams • Self-starter, Results-orientated & the ability to produce results under pressure • Relationship building & management skills • Understanding of competitive positioning • Strong customer orientation & Focused on the brand • Creative with lateral thinking abilities. • Comfortable with tight deadlines Technical Competencies: • Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking policies issued by RBI and guidelines on insurance issued by IRDA and on local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general. Understanding of KYC requirements & Anti-money Laundering Policies laid down by RBI and IRDA are critical. • Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients
