Job Purpose
The position involves strategic planning, product enhancements, process improvements, increasing acquiring channels and customer spends therein, adherence to regulatory guidelines and P&L management of acquiring channels within the consumer banking India business.
Key Accountabilities
Fulfil all responsibilities in relation to:
• Thought leadership in launch of innovative offerings on acquiring channels.
• Market overview on competitive offerings.
• Manage the P&L responsibility for acquiring channels.
• Improve levers such as merchant onboarding / spends on acquiring channels / transaction volume and average transaction size through campaigns and partnerships. Collaborate with relevant internal and external teams to achieve same.
• Manage the Branch / Cluster / Regional growth of onboarding across acquiring channels and quality of transactions.
• Launch of market-leading features, enhance the features of the existing product.
• Broaden product offerings to maximise our share of spends amongst customers.
• Business SPOC for internal & external audit and ensuring a minimum rating of "Satisfactory" on all such audits.
Job Duties & responsibilities
• Tracking key acquiring channel KPIs.
• Work with the campaign management team to launch various campaigns to increase spends.
• Adherence to Ops, Control Groups and Technology Requirements.
• Tracking increase of transactions and resultant growth in revenue
• Manage the growth of acquiring channels amongst Current Account / C-LAP and relevant Individual bank customers - P&L responsibility – Onboarding numbers / Spends / Revenues / Costs.
• Launch of new product propositions on acquiring channels.
• Managing the relationship of external stakeholders such as onboarding and servicing partner, outsourced switch partner, product enhancement partners, Payment network etc.
Required Experience
• 10 - 15 years in management of acquiring channels in established banking / financial services firms.
• Experience in human centric design on customer journeys.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Power Point.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
• MBA/Post Graduate in the relevant field
