Experience
Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in financial services, financial product development, investment advisory & Private Banking (Wealth Management).
Excellent knowledge of Wealth Management solutions like Mutual funds, PMS/AIF, Private Credit, International Investments, Insurance, Alternative Investments etc. & strategies like tax minimization strategies, legacy planning, arbitrage etc.
Experience in Product Development and structuring for Private Wealth clients.
Experience in managing Investment Counsellors/ Advisors at a National level
Job Profile:
Lead the product management group of the organisation
Design the product value proposition for Wealth Management.
Analyze various PMS/AIF/MF/Structured Products etc & and conduct due diligence for assessment of inclusion in the product bouquet
Devise innovate product offerings for both templated as well as bespoke solutions after competitive scanning and benchmarking.
Source and interpret external market intelligence from a domestic as well as global perspective. Track and enhance the performance of launched products to ensure they remain competitive in the market place.
Conceptualize and maintain collaterals, research notes.
Existing Product management (including portfolio positioning, return analysis, investment risk review, peer group review)
Take responsibility of Investment committee, generation of monthly house view & model portfolios.
Analytics of client portfolios as well as model portfolios
Ensure high quality & timely reports for Clients with proper coverage.
Create regular & timely updates on events in financial markets & economy.
Ensure product benchmarking is conducted at Quarterly intervals.
Liaison with other departments and outside agencies to have best in class technology driven solutions.
Build a knowledge platform via digital events and knowledge series.
Assist in building a social media community for the organization through good content and conversation
Liaison with market data aggregators and research report providers.
Regular interaction with investment and RM Teams.
Negotiate superior commercials with manufacturers
Compliance: Ensure compliance of guidelines, system & procedures are followed while approving products. Ensure the teams have necessary certification to comply with SEBI/IRDA/RBI instruction(s).
Knowledge Sharing: Have your team arrange investment conclaves,training programs&quizzes for Wealth RMs
Preferred Qualification:
MBA Finance or related field
Deep understanding of capital markets, MF industry and nuances of investing
Ability to multi-task & work in a high-pressure performance oriented environment.
Should have an eye for detail
Knowledge & Experience in Market Analytics and Passion for Research in Economic trends and products.
Compensation:
Fixed: Competitive with the industry
ESOPs: Head of Products will be the beneficiary of generous ESOPs
