In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analysts, testers, and operations throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents in a timely manner.
Support core team members in transitioning manual processes to automated processes as part of a larger transformation project.
Qualifications:
4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Hands-on experience with CA7 scheduler job automation.
Extensive hands-on experience with Hogan mainframe systems (Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan Deposits).
Experience creating JCLs, COBOL, REXX, and SORT utilities.
Experience with DB2IMS.
Strong debugging skills and ability to work independently.
SQL skills.
IT Project Management experience or skills (nice to have).

Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and assist the product management team in,
• Market Research, Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions.

• User Experience (UX) Analysis, Supporting user research efforts, gathering user feedback, and contributing to UX/UI improvements.
