About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Reporting to the manager daily
2. Overseeing the production process
3. Ensuring the overall production is cost-effective & meeting quality standards
4. Handling follow-ups on materials (containers & labels), product dispatch & QC
5. Managing stock control and inventory checks of raw materials and finished goods
6. Tracking production schedules, container and label procurement, QC, reports & dispatches
7. Managing the firm's supply portfolio by identifying and onboarding potential manufacturers
8. Designing efficient sourcing and category management strategies
+. Negotiating favorable terms on pricing, payment, delivery lead times, and other key areas
10. Calculating the cost of procurement and managing sourcing budgets
11. Performing ongoing supplier evaluation and improvement
12. Working on the continuous improvement of sourcing activities by identifying and implementing best practices
13 Identifying risks and having checked in place to minimize them
