Responsibilities:
• Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements.
• Build and maintain a product roadmap.
• Drive alignment and execution across multiple internal teams, including engineering, operations, sales, marketing, legal, and customer success.
• Own product lifecycle, including product planning / concept definition, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definition (when is an offering good enough for launch?), ongoing release strategy, and ultimately product retirement.
• Align with your cross-functional team on the definition of success by defining, measuring, and tracking OKRs for every initiative. You’ll also define business metrics that provide a short and long-term measure of health and success.
• Be a specialist on the competitive landscape.
• Evangelize new features and benefits internally and externally.
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Meaningful experience in application security, cloud edge computing, SaaS, multi-tenant architectures.
• Software development experience and/or security experience with apps based on web technologies, including HTTP, JavaScript, and HTML. Functional experience with APIs and microservices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to articulate sophisticated technology with clarity.
• Outstanding listener, great presenter, terrific interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent is required, MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of related product management experience.
