Job Description
The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading a team of high performing individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Ensure project success, interface cooperatively with marketing and oversea R&D team, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and , operation on project tasks.
• Interface with marketing on generating feasibility of product ideas/concepts;
• Ensure customer requirements and design input are proactively defined to guide the Product
• Development team
• Bring product ideas and concepts into iterations of prototypin,g, testing and validation.
• Application of both new and existing technologie,s, materials and processes to deliver the optimum product design ensuring the establishment of excellent standards of performance
• Conducting cost analysis(product)and process optimization studies
• Work with international manufacturing site on implementing approved product into manufacturing process. Devising and leading both lab scale and mass production experiments to validate critical Design and processing methods
• Develop strategies to work around technical challenges
• Provide continuous support othe f product launch in early seekng stage and seeking steady improvement,s in design, quality and financials.
• Analyze technical data; prepare standard/customized reports/documentation for internal/external sponsors.
• Participate the process of planning and scheduling activities necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Product/process development through the whole life cycle to ensure long-term success
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
• Material/fabrics and process knowledge in nonwovens;
• Solid understanding of polymer science, and composite materials.
• Proved experience with material/fabric finishing such as Antistatic, Water Repellency and Flame Retardant, etc.
• Proved experience with film extrusion and treatment
• Material/fabric lamination process with ultrasonic, thermal, adhesive, spraying/scattering
• The position requires project management experience ,good problem-solving skills, strong overall communication skills and strong leadership
