Job Title – Product Manager - Business Banking
Place of work - Mumbai
Job Purpose:
• Scope out and deliver products to meet the Business Banking value proposition for the Bank
• Guide, nurture and work with Sales teams to build capability and ensure superior delivery to the customer
• Work within the compliance boundaries set by regulatory bodies and bank
• Maximize efficiency by suggesting Product Innovation,
• Competition mapping, keeping a track of market trends/best practices for new business opportunities
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Designing new Product, Policy & Process (right from conceptualization to launch and subsequent monitoring), evolving existing product/policy, addressing gaps and taking corrective measures
• Working closely with all stakeholders (which includes Sales, Credit, Policy, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, ORM etc) to facilitate the Product/Process related initiatives/changes.
• Constantly engagement with Sales team to take feedback on product/process and suggest solutions/taking corrective measures.
• Competition mapping of programs, policies, product keeping a track of market trends/best practices for new business opportunities
• Audit & Compliance – Ensure team is updated and trained with regards to Risk and Compliance norms. Ensure minimum number of audit observations.
• Training internal teams on product/regulatory initiatives to improve effectiveness and results.
• Identify market opportunities for new product building
• Engage with end users to identify critical pain and need
• Conduct top down research to evaluate key emerging themes in SME space
• Continually build hypothesis and test them to determine roadmap
• Advises on process engineering and developing policies
• Leverage the vision of the product to prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for product
• Work with leaders and data analyst team to set the direction and prioritization of work to deliver the most relevant and strategically important reports, analysis and insights
• Achieve goals and optimize resources to overcome unexpected obstacles and partner with different internal stakeholders in working together
• • Developing micro market and segment related solutions along with sales team in respective geographies to give differentiated proposition to customers
• • Building enabling work environment through capability development of teams by being subject matter expert on business banking solutions
Experience: 3 - 5 years
