Job Purpose
EMI Product Manager is to oversee and manage entire Term Book of Credit card portfolio. The role plays a vital part in success and growth of EMI book & Credit Card business
Key Accountabilities
1. Developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability of the EMI portfolio.
2. Monitoring and analyzing portfolio performance, including delinquency rates, default rates, and profitability metrics.
3. Identifying risks and opportunities within the portfolio and taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
4. Collaborating with various teams, such as risk management, marketing, and finance, to optimize portfolio performance.
5. Creating and maintaining relationships with partner banks or financial institutions for EMI program collaborations.
Job Duties & responsibilities
1. Portfolio Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of the credit card EMI portfolio, including key metrics such as EMI utilization, conversion rates, and revenue generation. Identify trends and insights to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
2. Product Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and launch new EMI offerings that meet customer needs and align with market demand. Continuously innovate the EMI product suite to maintain a competitive edge.
3. Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to assess and mitigate credit risks associated with EMI transactions. Monitor delinquency rates and implement measures to minimize credit losses.
4. Customer Segmentation: Segment the customer base to understand their preferences and behaviours related to EMI usage. Use customer insights to tailor EMI offerings and marketing strategies.
5. Marketing and Promotions: Work closely with marketing teams to design targeted campaigns to promote EMI usage and increase EMI adoption among credit cardholders.
Required Experience
1. Proven experience in credit card portfolio management, product management, or related financial services roles, with a focus on EMI products.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
3. In-depth knowledge of credit card EMI industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Education / Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
