Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Write data product specifications, describe feature stories, design user interfaces, write acceptance criteria and validate the implementation with the engineering team
• Explain analytical solutions to the business and guide the engineering team members to build the optimal solutions
• Define solutions that are built on the foundation of simplicity auto-validations, configurability and reusability in all elements of solution – from user interfaces to data engineering processes
• Work with stakeholders to decide and communicate on product priorities and roadmap
• Utilize Product Management tools and processes to define and lead the user acceptance of data projects across the organization
• Own the success of a given data product with the respective business stakeholders
• Collaborate across product teams and business units to address the business goals of the organization and the respective business units
Requirements:
• 6+ years of overall experience out of which 4+ years of product management experience in software / data product management roles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration in IT or Systems Engineering, Engineering or related field required
• Proven ability to weave together business strategy, data and technology into products for business and operations users
• Experience in an agile development environment is a plus
• Fast learner, ability to pick up technology and concepts quickly, strong solution design orientation, and abstract thinking
• Appreciates design methodology, keeps an open mind to possible solutions & takes initiative
