Job Description Metaprise is seeking a Product Manager to be based in our Shenzhen China office where he/she will collaborate with the existing Success and Product team and have the opportunity to engage directly with our CEO. The ideal candidate will have a consultancy background, advanced product management experience, and an interest in fintech. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
What You’ll Do
Manage the process workflow for all activities, from the work request stage to closing.
Define Metaprise’s products, from strategy and solution design to roadmap and delivery.
Partner with product domains to drive cross-functional initiatives and leverage all aspects of the Metaprise product suite.
Collaborate with target users, commercial teams, senior leadership, design, go-to-market, and engineering teams to bring our products to reality.
Take products from ideation to delivery on a global scale.
Efficiently lead new product launches, and feature enhancements and manage user feedback.
Communicate with project teams and assign tasks.
Build and manage product backlog that is aligned with core business objectives.
Coordinate and work closely with internal Product Owners and business functions such as Risk, Finance, Ops, and Sales.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of product features.
Assess the strategic and technical impact of projects.
What You’ll Bring Essential
Overall 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of product/project experience in a professional remit.
An overall understanding of user requirements, target markets, and competitive landscapes.
An in-depth understanding of existing and future banking/finance industry trends.
The ability to communicate with various stakeholders (clients, project managers/owners).
The ability to collaborate effectively with the global product, tech, and finance teams (US, EMEA, Southeast Asia).
Excellent communicative skills.
Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Desirable
Digital transformation-related product experience in the payment industry.
Proficiency in app development and UI/interface design.
Proficiency in PRD.
Familiarity with dataflow/cashflow software structures.
An extensive understanding of regulatory compliance in a financial capacity.
A natural ability to influence various international teams without a direct reporting structure
The ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
A creative outlook.
