Product Manager – Rural CD
Function/ Department: Retail Banking
Job Purpose:
The role entails developing value propositions for Rural Business by executing strategies to expand the existing products, delivering banking needs to customers in a cost-efficient and technology-effective manner. It includes supporting teams and maintaining systems, processes, and culture conducive to growth while ensuring consistency of delivery. This role will closely collaborate with Retail team members from Product Head, Operations, Sales, IT, Credit, and BIU departments. The responsibility involves providing a seamless and fulfilling customer experience and making IDFC First the primary bank for all banking needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support implementing value propositions for Rural Business.
Provide technical support across multiple technologies for assigned products.
Maintain and develop Product Management Information Systems (MIS).
Proactively support teams with administrative and manpower challenges.
Contribute to creating dashboards for senior management.
Aggregate information on latest market trends, determine best practices using data analysis.
Improve performance and quality of portfolio through regular monitoring and recommendations for course correction to Product and Sales teams.
Support Product team in Rural Business category to provide differentiated offerings and drive business growth.
Ensure adherence to bank guidelines.
Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across assigned areas.
Recommend improvements to processes and policies across Retail Banking business to drive operational efficiencies and high-quality customer service.
Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
Attract and retain top talent for key roles within reporting structures.
Education Qualification:
Post-Graduation: Any Postgraduate degree.
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Note: Candidate should have technical expertise in handling system development at any BFSI organization.
