Role/ Job Title: Product Manager-Securitized Products
Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking
Job Purpose:
To play the central role between the Corporate Coverage team RH/SRM/RM and all the control function teams in order to facilitate the inorganic book / PSL book growth of the Bank through portfolio acquisition of retail loan portfolios. To guide and assist in helping build Priority Sector Lending (PSL) Book through the use of Portfolio Buyouts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Keep abreast of market developments, transaction structures happening in the market, industry volumes.
• Annual updating of the product note and the SOP’s as per the Bank’s guidelines.
• Monitor the existing portfolio performance and highlight triggers to the Coverage team as applicable.
• Co-ordinate with all stakeholders in order to respond to RBI queries as may be sent from time to time and handle the annual inspection.
• Assist the Coverage team in transaction closures by guiding them on the processes, compliances, norms etc. as may be required.
• Supervise the ARM who manages the payouts and ensure that all payouts of existing portfolio are being received on time and processed on a real time basis.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, coverage team and if required, the auditor to ensure that the surveillance is completed on time.
• Be able to connect with ancillary service providers like trustees, rating agencies, legal counsel to assist / co-ordinate for transaction closures, keep abreast of market developments, understand interpretations from the point of law etc.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation: Any graduation
Post graduation: Any post-graduation
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant product management experience
