Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field from a four-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Product Marketing and/or Business Development of Industrial Automation products and/or technologies
Proven Industrial Automation Product Marketing experience
Excellent understanding of the customer decision-making process and key drivers

Responsibilities
The Product Marketing Leader is primarily responsible for driving brand awareness and increasing market share of the Beckhoff Industrial Automation product portfolio and technologies
Beckhoff offers a broad, open, and flexible portfolio of “PLCs”, I/O’s, HMI, Industrial PCs, Machine Safety and Industrial Networking enabling OEMs and End Users to realize innovative automation solutions in machine building and vertical markets
The Product Marketing Leader reports to the U.S. Director of Product Management and works closely with the Marketing and Communications department (MarCom) and our U.S. and global Product Managers to ensure that U.S. marketing plans meet local and global objectives
The Product Marketing Leader (PML) will work with Product Managers (PM) (product and subject matter experts) to develop effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of existing and new products to the U.S. market
The PML and PMs work together to conduct market research on current trending products, establish market launch plans for upcoming products, guide sales teams, develop messaging and market positioning around products

Build brand (portfolio) awareness by supporting the MarCom team with content for digital marketing and trade publication use

Collaborate with all U.S. Product Management team to coordinate cross product family campaigns
Participating and/or presenting at trade shows and other company and customer related events
Create software demos to promote product features
