Product Owner, Credit Decisioning (Bangalore, India)
Do you want to contribute to build the credit infrastructure that improves core credit decisions in Danske Bank? We now offer an opportunity to be part of a great Tribe within Danske Bank, where we support our Customer Journeys as well as other parts of the bank with core credit- and decisioning capabilities. We are offering a position as PO for one of the squads in the models domain of our tribe. Collateral is an area where you will have the opportunity to improve customer experience through simple and innovative solutions. We are focusing on improving the way we handle models in the bank and you can play a strong role in this change.
Key responsibility
You will be the PO for our External Credit Data squad. You will be part of the Decision Model cluster PO team and your contribution in this group is highly valuable and appreciated in continuing refining, improving and implementing the strategic direction for the domain
You will be involved with multiple stakeholders within the tribe and across the bank to ensure we balance risk management, system development, user needs and compliance in the solutions and services we deliver. You will handle the backlog for your squad of appr. 11 FTE based in Bangalore, to enable them to deliver and become a success as a unit and as part of a greater purpose.
What we are looking for:
A proactive and pragmatic Product Owner who can support and refine the future setup of our model landscape by balancing ongoing deliveries and a strategic purpose to simplify the technical setup. You ensure that user-needs and desired value deliveries are the main drivers for the results we deliver and are able to prioritise these in close collaboration with the stakeholders for the area. You have an understanding of risk management and how models plays a part of this. You are eager to learn and develop your own skills both towards understanding of our credit infrastructure, but also in your role as a Product Owner.
About you:
• Experience working as a PO using SCRUM in a scaled setup
• Understanding of agile methodologies, values and tools – you are used to developing and writing epics and user stories in tools like JIRA or others
• Understanding on credit risk management – know and understand the role that collateral plays as part of an overall credit application
• Have an open-minded and positive mind-set and eagerness to improve our solution for the benefit of our customers
