Join AsureQuality’s Digital Transformation team as a Product Owner – Data & AI Products and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food assurance in Aotearoa. This is your opportunity to drive key data initiatives, influence strategic decision-making, and be at the forefront of digital transformation.
This is a full time permanent position to start April/May 2026, and is based in our Mt Wellington, Auckland office every Thursday. Flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the work week is available.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own the product vision – Define and manage the roadmap and backlog to align with business priorities and user needs.
Translate needs into action – Collaborate with teams to define clear, actionable product requirements.
Drive continuous improvement – Conduct market research and gather feedback to enhance solutions.
Lead Agile execution – Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, and key Agile ceremonies.
Ensure impact – Prioritise initiatives and deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in product management within a medium or large organisation.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Advantageous if you have an Agile certification.
Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and manage competing priorities.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Experience in defining and prioritising product backlogs and driving successful data-related initiatives.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience (e.g., Business, Product Management, or related discipline).
