Hiring: Product Owner (Credit / Insurance / Risk & Compliance)
Locations: Bangalore | Chennai | Pune | Gurgaon (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Product Owners to lead and deliver transformational initiatives across Credit Analysis, Insurance, and Risk & Compliance domains . The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of business analysis, product ownership, and domain expertise , with proven ability to translate business needs into customer-centric digital solutions.
You will work closely with stakeholders, business SMEs, and cross-functional Agile teams to define vision, manage product backlogs, and drive delivery excellence .
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
2. Act as SME in your respective domain (Credit, Insurance, or Risk & Compliance).
3. Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog using Agile best practices.
4. Draft and refine user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
5. Partner with stakeholders (business, IT, compliance, actuarial, underwriting, risk teams) to capture requirements and ensure alignment.
6. Facilitate scrum ceremonies : backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
7. Support build, testing, UAT, training, and rollout activities.
8. Monitor product performance, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction ; drive continuous improvement.
9. Leverage data-driven insights to enhance processes and user experience.
Domain Tracks
Credit Analysis
1. Expertise in credit assessment processes and regulatory reporting.
2. SME on RWA calculator (RWA, RoRWA, EL calculation).
3. Experience in credit transformation initiatives .
Insurance (Life, Health, General)
1. Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, claims, actuarial, compliance .
2. Experience in digital insurance product development .
3. Proven ability to deliver customer-centric solutions .
Risk & Compliance
1. Experience in risk assessment, risk management, and compliance frameworks .
2. Ability to manage project/product delivery with regulatory considerations .
3. Hands-on in backlog refinement and product tracking for risk-focused initiatives.
Qualifications
1. 7+ years of total experience, including 4+ years as a Product Owner .
2. Strong business analysis & documentation skills .
3. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
4. Proven stakeholder management & communication skills .
5. Track record of delivering high-impact digital products in BFSI.
