About the Role:
This newly created role in a growing team plays a key part in shaping product direction, aligning stakeholders and delivering high-impact features that enhance a 3D medical imaging software.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own and manage the product backlog for the 3D solution ensuring prioritisation with business goals, objectives and strategy
Collaborating with engineering, design and clinical stakeholders to define product requirements
Translate complex user and business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Drive product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with leadership
Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement and product demos
Prioritise incoming and existing tickets against commercial goals and customer feedback
Key Outcomes & Measures:
A defined product roadmap aligned to the company strategy
Measurable improvements in user adoption and satisfaction
Execution of efficient and predictable delivery cycles
About You:
You’re an experienced Product Owner with a strong track record working in agile teams, confident in owning backlogs and translating complex user needs into clear, deliverable outcomes. You balance technical constraints with user and business priorities and build strong relationships across all stakeholder groups.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Product Owner/ Product Manager roles
Strong ability to balance technical constraints with user needs and business outcomes
Experience working on complex software products (health-tech or imaging experience highly regarded)
Proven ability to work with leadership and senior stakeholders to guide product direction and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Strong track record of re-prioritising work based on business value
Demonstrable experience managing large, complex backlogs
Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions
Bonus Points For:
Experience with DICOM, medical imaging or 3D visualisation tools
Background in healthcare, radiology or clinical settings
Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., TGA, FDA)
