About the Role:
As a Product QA Developer, you will join a Product Engineering team of bright, talented developers, designers and QA working hard to create phenomenal user experiences for our customers. You will be very familiar with agile development processes.
This is a great opportunity for you to gain domain expertise in software that supports and delivers growth to the Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, or Service industries. Your possible projects include developing and enhancing functionality, web-enabling products, or extending our mobile and SaaS / Cloud offerings.
What You’ll Do:
• Provide the foundation for building test cases and the execution of manual test cases.
• Under general supervision, develop, modify, and enhance existing automated test scripts, databases, and software documentation to meet customer needs.
• Establish computer testing, simulation, and evaluation procedures; test environment setup, handling SQL queries for database side validations, identify and resolve automated script problems; and perform other related work as necessary.
• This position also provides feedback on the products being tested and works closely with development to resolve product quality issues.
What You Need to Succeed:
• Having good experience in Manual testing, API testing, automation scripting, writing SQL queries
• Strong ERP domain knowledge/work experience
• Ability to analyze detail design specifications, provide feedback, and perform the work required from the design.
• Analyzes requirements and clarify scope and breadth of work tasks with business analysts and product managers
• Reviews scripts and performs an adequate level of testing to ensure quality standards are attained.
• Learns and employs knowledge of the business segment targeted by the software application.
• Experienced in integration testing between different applications.
• Develop automated test scripts as defined in Design Specifications and as directed by supervisor.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
• Strong technical skills and logic are required.
• 3+ Yrs of hands-on experience in Automation testing (WDIO/Selenium) with good product experience
• Strong in Troubleshooting, deployment and debugging with basic programming skills
• Automation tool experience (WDIO/Selenium) is a Must
• API Automation testing experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge/hands-on experience on non-functional testing/automation
