Tasks & Responsibilities
We are searching for a mid-level developer who is passionate about applying the latest technologies to deliver the next generation of expert solutions. You should be willing to take on challenges of unknown dimensions across different domains, and work hand in hand with technical lead, product leaders, customers, and other developers. You will need to have very strong technical skills and desire to apply them to the delivery of production solutions.
You will join OneID team and reporting to the Delivery manager. OneID delivers identity, authentication and authorization solution to our business partners that eliminates the need to choose between efficiency and effectiveness. It enables a seamless cross product experience to Wolters Kluwer customers. The team is part of the Digital eXperience Group (/dxg), a corporate level division providing advanced technology capabilities globally for Wolters Kluwer and is critical to driving effective innovation.
In this role you will:
• Work with an international multi-disciplinary team of engineers to ensure that software products deliver business value, have high quality, and contain a minimal technical debt.
• Participate in coding, unit, and integration test efforts within a project team. Clearly communicate actionable information to the project team.
• Develop and document software designs that emphasize usefulness/usability, stability, performance, and reusability.
• Work on all facets of software development - designing, developing, automating test cases and deployment pipeline.
• Assist with advanced debugging efforts within the project team when production and development issues arise.
• Continuously stay current on market trends and new technologies that can affect how we approach our solutions.
• Establish and uphold firm expectations and ensure that deliverables are self-certified prior to transitioning to the downstream consumers of the deliverable (QA and customers).
Your profile
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, pro-active, and willing to grow into a senior developer role. You should be able to receive a statement of objectives and together with the Lead developer, translate this into the detailed direction. You should be able to effectively execute in those directions and clearly communicate the project impediments to peers.
Required & desired experience and skills
Must haves:
• 5+ years of experience with Java (v12+), spring boot 2.x, multi-layered web applications, REST, microservices, databases like PostgreSQL or other.
• Basic understanding of Identity management and(or) Access Management.
• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular framework (v11+).
• Hands on experience creating Unit and integration test.
• Experience in CI/CD tools.
• Experience working within an Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe)
• Good communication (English) and social skills.
Good to have: If you don’t have these skills, you will get sufficient opportunity to learn all that on the job.
• Experience developing web applications using React.
• Working experience with tools like Checkstyle, SonarQube, Blackduck is a plus.
• Experience in automating test cases and deployment pipeline is a plus.
• It would be plus if you have experience in Cloud Architecture (AWS) and containerized solutions like Docker or Kubernetes.
• It would be plus If you have experience working with Azure active directory as authorization server, authentication/authorization framework & protocols such as Oauth2, OIDC, LDAP, SAML etc.
