The Opportunity:
This role reports functionally to the Regional Head of Capital Markets, Asia Pacific and will focus on supporting the Asia Capital Markets team on product management and controls as well as data analytics.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
Support Capital Markets teams in HK and SG particularly on Structured Products across Private Bank and Retail Wealth businesses
Prepare, review and maintain product documentation including Product Key Terms, External Email Templates, POS cue card
Prepare internal and external marketing documentation including pitchbook, performance factsheet
Prepare sales report and business update to internal stakeholders as well as filings to regulators
Maintain product inventory list and desk procedure
Update trade database on a daily basis and prepare periodic and ad hoc business performance reports
Conduct ongoing Product Risk Rating review
Conduct data analytics to support business and product developments
Targets & Measures:
Prepare product documentation and reports accurately and effectively
Maintain libraries of product inventory, documentation and trade database in a systematic and organised manner
Maintain clear audit trail on business updates and regulatory filings
Produce data analytics that are fit for purpose of the team and stakeholders
Nil evidence of breaches towards the bank’s policies & regulations like Data Protection and Privacy, Anti Money Laundering, Information Risk policy and Regulatory requirements, process specific regulations. Abide by Group Compliance policy
Clarity and proactive mode of communication and on time completion of deliverables
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Educated to graduate level (or equivalent level of experience) (M)
Adequate knowledge of Capital Markets products especially Structured Products (M)
Excellent Oral, written and presentation skills with attention to details and diligence (M)
Strong organizational and time management skills (M)
Adept with MS Excel and PowerPoint (M)
Effective with stakeholder management and communications, able to work with teams across locations (M)
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and ability to learn and adapt (D)
Ability to work well within a strong team environment (D)
What additional skills will be good to have?
Critical to be able to collaborate as part of the broader Global and Regional Capital Markets team
Ability to act as subject matter expert and communicate with stakeholders effectively

Competing demands from different stakeholders in the team
