The Role
Reporting to the Senior Metallurgical Engineer your role as a Product Testing Technician is to ensure product testing is in line with technical drawings, verifying paperwork accuracy and compliance with standards, whilst maintaining a clean and safe work environment adhering to Safety and HSE standards. This role is key to our Mechanical team based in Melbourne VIC.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for product testing to meet technical specifications, paperwork accuracy, and standards compliance. You'll conduct machine sample tests, maintain equipment, design testing fixtures, and ensure workshop safety and HSE standards, all while enhancing machining practices
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Mechanical trade certificate - Welding, Machining, Fitter and Turner or similar
Forklift Ticket
Heavy Industry experience desirable
Mechanical Aptitude
Demonstrated time management skills
Ability to work as a team and independently
Ability to maintain high level safety culture
