Production Accounting and Database Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Accounting and Data Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases and systems, ensuring accurate data collection and file organization. This role requires proficiency in office software, particularly Excel, and a strong ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role also requires accounting skills which includes the collection, analysis and reporting of financial data.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Organize and file documents systematically for easy retrieval.

Collect, analyze, and report on data as needed.

Assist in the development and implementation of data management systems.

Perform regular audits of data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Monthly production and sales audits.

Create production reports for management.

Maintain lists of wells and properties for reporting purposes.

Responsible annual submissions to government for properties.

Provide administrative support to other departments as required.

Utilize Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks. Must be highly proficient in Excel including Pivot tables, and various analysis tools including V-Lookups, Sumifs, transposing data, charts/graphs.

Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in office software, especially Excel.

Knowledge of accounting principals.

Experience with database management systems is preferred.

Ability to collect and analyze data effectively.

Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy.

Previous administrative experience is a plus.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
