Job Description
As an IT Support Engineer, you will work closely with customer service, business, and technology teams to provide technical assistance and support for the Pointspay suite of products. You will be working on Java-based cloud-hosted applications to analyze,
troubleshoot & resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
• Track and action incidents, requests and problem tickets submitted via ticketing tool and emails.
• Troubleshoot and investigate application functionality related issues and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, investigate and mitigate any abnormalities in the applications by collaborating with development & infrastructure teams.
• Research and propose solutions to enhance uptime, efficiency, and recovery of systems.
• Suggest improvements in the process or application to reduce the time to resolve an issue.
• Build tools or scripts to automate or assist in resolving issue/problem tickets.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B. Tech).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as IT Support Engineer.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and Unix/Linux commands with hands-on scripting experience.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues through log analysis.
• Experience in monitoring application and infrastructure.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral & written communication.
• Experience with Java web technologies and Amazon Web Services would be a plus
