The successful candidate has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting. This role requires successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include planning, production control, operations, quality, and manufacturing/test/design engineering.
What You Will Do
Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting
Manages Kit Readiness including working with cross-functional team in BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control
Releasing production orders in MRP system and confirming in shop floor system
Coordinates the kitting process with multiple stores and consolidation areas
Provides production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work In Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule.
Controls the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material including Return to Vendor, Purged material, WIP STOP per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub-assemblies as required.
Maintains integrity of the shop floor, MRP, and inventory systems through key performance metrics
Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources, and other Raytheon Technologies facilities.
This will be an onsite role located in Andover, MA.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
Experience in Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Logistics, or other relevant transferable manufacturing skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to maintain flow of WIP
Providing risk-based assessments for on-time production, modifying and adapting schedules to promote MRP accuracy.
Qualifications We Value:
Previous MRP experience, special program access, or similar manufacturing software experience.
Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams)

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
