Forma Steel specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels in a wide range of gauges, colors, and finishes. We manufacture our product in Fort Macleod, AB, approximately 25 minutes West of Lethbridge.

We are currently looking to add a new role to our team: Production Coordinator
Summary
The Production Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the production floor. This position is responsible for coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory records, tracking progress, and acting as a liaison between various departments such as production, quality control, procurement, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
Track raw material usage and finished goods to maintain accurate inventory levels
Work closely with supervisors and leads to resolve production delays or issues
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of production data, downtime, and output
Assist with planning maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly production reports
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
Key Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Post secondary education considered an asset
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel or metal industry
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, production orders, and specifications
Familiarity with safety regulations and manufacturing best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
