Production Designer & Studio Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Vaughan, ON (On-site only)
Job Type: Part-time (up to 30 hrs/week)

ABOUT THE ROLE
MT Creator Studio is a growing sign & print studio serving local businesses and online customers across Canada.
We are hiring a Production Designer & Studio Operations Assistant to support daily studio execution.
This role is hands-on, production-focused, and operational.
This is not a creative director, branding, or marketing role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production Design (Primary)
Create fast, clean production designs for:
Business cards, flyers, brochures, menus
Signs (window graphics, banners)
Wrap visuals (concept level only)
Execute designs using provided references and instructions
Prepare print-ready Adobe Illustrator files (no fixes required)
Work accurately with metric & imperial dimensions
Speed expectations:
Business cards / flyers concepts: ~20 minutes
Simple sign layouts: ~30 minutes
Wrap visual concepts: 2–3 hours
Website & Online Stores (Execution Only)
Update and build Wix pages from brief
Upload products, variants, pricing, images
Maintain store structure (categories, shipping, pickup)
Etsy & Amazon Operations
Reply to customer messages
Create mockups
Prepare ready-to-print files
Keep order flow organized and on time
Light Studio & Production Support
Pack orders
Track stock, materials, and packaging
Assist with small Etsy/Amazon production:
Vinyl weeding
T-shirt printing
Keychains, rings, stickers, tape
Final product assembly
No cleaning. No heavy sign production. No installs.
REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
Print production knowledge (bleed, scale, CMYK, outlines)
Comfortable preparing files for large-format printing
Fast, organized, and detail-oriented
Good English communication
Willing to work on-site only in Vaughan
Comfortable with hands-on studio work
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday
Up to 6 hours/day
Maximum 30 hours/week
Fixed schedule (not freelance, not flexible hours)
PAY & GROWTH
$18/hour starting
Up to $20/hour based on performance
