We’re Hiring: Production Engineer – Electrical Panel (LT) Location: Site V, EPIP, Kasna Industrial Area, Greater Noida
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Job Summary:
The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing and improving the production process of electrical panels to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency. The role involves planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling :
Plan daily and weekly production activities to meet customer deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
Process Supervision :
Monitor and control panel assembly, wiring, testing, and final inspection activities in line with design drawings and quality standards.
Design & Drawing Interpretation :
Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams to guide the assembly team.
Team Management :
Supervise technicians and assembly workers; provide training and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Quality Assurance :
Implement quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC and industry standards.
Material Coordination :
Coordinate with the procurement and stores team to ensure the availability of components as per the BOM
Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain daily production logs, quality checklists, and generate reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing (LV control panels)
Good knowledge of electrical components and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with ISO +001, IEC-6143+, and other relevant standards
Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Work Environment:
Factory floor and office-based
Use of PPE and adherence to electrical safety protocols are required
May involve standing for extended periods and hands-on troubleshooting
