Job Description
• Production Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop and implement production schedules.
• Allocate resources efficiently (manpower, machinery, materials).
• Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Quality Control (QC):
• Establish and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance department.
• Material Management:
• Oversee material procurement and inventory control.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders for required materials.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department.
• Minimize waste and optimize material utilization.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Conduct time and motion studies.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Optimize equipment utilization.
• Team Management:
• Lead and supervise production teams.
• Provide training and development opportunities for employees.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Problem-solving:
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and patterns.
• Make data-driven decisions.
