Job Summary:

The Production Executive in the barrels manufacturing industry is responsible for overseeing and

optimizing the daily production operations to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of

barrels. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with various

departments, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. The

Production Executive will play a critical role in improving productivity, minimizing waste, and

ensuring that production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1Production Planning Management:

o Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in

coordination with the Production Manager.

o Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines

and production targets.

o Ensure that production activities are carried out in accordance with the established

timelines.

2. Quality Assurance:

o Monitor the production process to ensure that all barrels meet the company's

quality standards.

o Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement quality assurance

protocols.

o Identify and resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently to minimize waste and

rework.

3. Team Supervision & Coordination:

o Supervise and provide guidance to production staff, including machine operators,

technicians, and assembly workers.

o Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage team members to meet

production goals.

o Organize and conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing training

for existing staff.

4. Process Optimization:

o Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in processes and

procedures.

o Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste, enhance productivity,

and improve efficiency.

o Work closely with the Maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure

machinery and equipment are properly maintained.

5. Inventory & Resource Management:

o Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate

supply for production needs.

o Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of materials and

supplies.

o Track and manage resource allocation to optimize the use of labor, materials, and

equipment.

6. Health & Safety Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the manufacturing

facility.

o Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential

hazards.

o Promote a safety-first culture among the production team and ensure that all

employees are trained in safety protocols.

7. Reporting & Documentation:

o Prepare and maintain accurate production records, including production reports,

inventory levels, and quality control documentation.

o Report production performance, challenges, and achievements to senior

management.

o Maintain records of equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with

operational standards.

Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or

a related field.

 Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment,

preferably in the barrels or packaging industry.

 Skills:

o Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management.

o Excellent leadership and team management skills.

o Proficient in using production management software and tools.

o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

o Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and quality control principles.

o Good communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

 Primarily in a manufacturing plant setting.

 May require standing for extended periods, working in noisy environments, and

occasionally lifting heavy materials.

 Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
