Job Description
This role is primarily focused on operating packaging equipment while leading a small team on the production line.
The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and comfortable working directly on the line while coordinating daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate packaging line equipment (bottling, softgel, powder, etc.)
Perform basic machine setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting
Handle routine maintenance and minor repairs
Lead and coordinate a small team of line workers
Assign tasks and ensure smooth daily operations
Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
Monitor product quality to meet GMP and client requirements
Resolve day-to-day issues on the production floor (equipment, staff, minor quality concerns)
Communicate with warehouse, QA, and production teams
Requirements
Experience in food, supplement, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
Hands-on experience with packaging line operations (required)
Previous experience as a Lead Hand / Senior Operator / Line Lead
Familiar with packaging equipment (filling, labeling, cartoning, etc.)
Basic mechanical skills for machine adjustment and troubleshooting (important)
Strong sense of responsibility and execution
Able to lead a small team effectively
Fluent in both Mandarin and English
Nice to Have
Canadian manufacturing experience
Familiar with GMP / QA processes
Equipment maintenance or technical background
Experience improving line efficiency
