What you'll do
As a Production Management Analyst, you’ll use your knowledge in production management for an area or product to make sure that there’s availability for business use that's in line with the agreed service level expectations or requirements.
You’ll participate in the introduction into operation and handover to support new systems and developments, as required by production management managers.
Your top priorities will include:
Conducting ongoing evaluations of products and analysing them to make sure that they meet our business requirements
Acting as a central point of contact for our customers and management and helping us to improve our fulfilment processes
Identifying areas of improvement for our services and diagnosing our platform for any issues
Supporting the delivery of application management and application support and providing solutions to ensure there's availability for business use
Contributing to our production management strategies and reviewing our SOX controls
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you'll have a background in a banking organisation, either in capital markets or the finance domain. Alongside this, you'll have experience of using Unix, Oracle, PL/SQL, MQ messaging fundamentals and Shell scripting.
In addition, you'll have a basic understanding of key regulations, risks and controls and how to collaborate with internal and external auditors. You'll also have knowledge of IT service management tools, like Autosys, Snow, Geneos, Bitbucket and SLX.
Furthermore, you'll need:
Problem-solving abilities and an innovative approach to finding resolutions
Great interpersonal skills
An understanding of how to work in a complex and multi-geographical team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex business issues and incidents in a simple, succinct and structured manner
