Job Description
The role of the Factory Manager involves overseeing the overall operations of our biscuit production plant. Key responsibilities include supervising daily production activities, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Management: Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders, optimize resource utilization, and maintain high-quality output.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements, implement food safety standards (HACCP, GMP), and conduct regular inspections for areas of improvement.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train the production team, handle staffing needs, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify process improvements, monitor plant performance, and develop KPIs to track output, downtime, and cost control.
• Maintenance & Equipment Management: Oversee equipment maintenance schedules, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Health & Safety: Implement safety protocols, conduct regular drills, and address any safety or environmental concerns.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage plant budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare regular financial reports.
