JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION MANAGER

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly self-driven Production Manager to join our Welding rod manufacturing unit. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. You should be highly competent and comprehend for complex operations. We also expect you to be optimize day-to-day activities for minimizing the costs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Oversee the entire production process, from planning to completion.

· Ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.

· Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.

· Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving strategies.

· Implementing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.

· Training and developing production staff.

· Analysing production data to identify areas for improvement.

· Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity

· Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

· Perform verification of production output according to specifications

· Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Key skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

· Previous experience in Welding rod production or manufacturing management is required.

· Strong leadership and team management abilities.

· Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Proficiency in production planning and resource allocation.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.

· Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

· Advanced skills in MS Office

· Communication and interpersonal skills

Qualification: BE-Mechanical or Any Equivalent degree

Gender: Male

Age: 30 to 40

Marital status: Married or Single

Experience Level: Minimum 8 to 10 Years

Work timings: +am to 6pm

Location Preferred: Any districts of Tamil Nadu

Salary: Based on the candidate Skillset
