Production Manager – Garment Manufacturing (Full-Time)
DK GROUP PVT LTD
Location: Udhna, Surat
DK GROUP PVT LTD is setting up a new garment manufacturing unit in Udhna (Surat), and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Manager to lead our production team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a production line from the ground up and grow with a fast-scaling brand.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Workflow
• Create and manage daily/weekly production schedules.
• Allocate work to Masterjis, tailors, helpers, and QC staff.
• Ensure timely completion of samples and bulk orders.
• Maintain daily reports, output logs, and efficiency tracking.
Team Management
• Supervise a team of 5–7 employees including Masterjis, tailors, and QC.
• Train, guide, and support team members to improve quality and speed.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity.
Quality Control
• Ensure all garments meet DK GROUP PVT LTD’s quality standards.
• Inspect first samples, first-piece approvals, and ongoing bulk stitching.
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions immediately.
Coordination & Communication
• Work closely with the founder and design/technical team for sample approvals.
• Communicate daily progress, output, and issues clearly.
• Coordinate fabric, trims, and material requirements with vendors.
Operational Setup & Process Building
• Assist in setting up the new production unit (layout, machinery, workflow).
• Build SOPs for cutting, stitching, QC, finishing, and dispatch readiness.
• Improve processes to reduce errors and maximize efficiency.
Problem Solving
• Handle stitching line issues, machine breakdowns, and workforce challenges.
• Take ownership of delays and ensure timely solutions.

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years experience in garment manufacturing (ethnic wear, western wear, or both).
• Strong knowledge of stitching techniques, sampling, and production flow.
• Experience managing Masterjis and small production teams.
• Ability to work independently in a startup-like environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer/WhatsApp reporting ability.

₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience)
